Specificities in purchasing a property in Bulgaria

Property purchase in Bulgarian is not an easy job for a foreigner. Despite the fact that Bulgaria is a member of EU, the Bulgarian legislation in real estate sphere still differs from the European legislation, especially from the British one being a part of the Anglo-Saxon Law System.
There are certain specificities, mainly in the process of land purchasing. Foreign physical persons are still not allowed to own land in Bulgaria, but the law permits them to set up a limited company, which can purchase the land without any obstacles.
